Products Exported To EU In December Are Subject To Compulsory Certification.
Douglas, a consultant, said that after July 1, 2009, those who did not carry out chemical registration, assessment, authorization and restriction (REACH) were not allowed to enter the EU countries.
Since December 2008, REACH certification is mandatory for all products exported to the EU. The chemicals used in textiles and footwear products do not have immunity in the REACH regulations.
In order to achieve the functions of textiles and footwear products, such as waterproofing, antibacterial and heat resistant functions, advanced technologies and chemicals will be used to bring harm to human beings and the environment.
Douglas suggested that commercial organizations should register with REACH so that their products should be tested and certified.
